Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen Rose Smith (Kathy), 73, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 in Leavenworth, Kansas. She resided in Easton, Kansas at the time of her passing. Kathleen was born on August 30, 1947 in Fresno, California to Melvin and Janice Reams. She grew up with many siblings, Michelle, Theodore, Carol, Sarah, and Loven. Kathleen married Victor R. Smith IV in Fresno, California. Kathleen attended Fresno Elementary, Fresno High School, and Fresno Community College. Kathleen was a Budget analyst for the United States Government. She received the Acheievement Medal for Civilian Service. Kathleen has resided in Fresno, California, Indianapolis, Indiana, Monterey, California, Germany, Belgium and Leavenworth, Kansas. Kathleen loved to breed dogs, ride horses, and travel. Kathleen is survived by her children, Teri (Tim) Swinford, Eason, Kansas, and Victor (Lenny) Smith V, Union City, California, five grandchildren, Alexis, Victor, Valorie, Richard, and Elizabeth, and two siblings, Theodore Reams and Michelle Reams. Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Victor R. Smith IV, sister, Carol Reams, and other family members, Matthew and Casior. We would like to thank Ducks Unlimited, Jeff and Becky, Sandy and Wayne Niebert- Lloyd who was her boss.
