She was born March 7, 1960, in Gainesville, to Herbert Schmidlkofer and Rachel Whysong. Mrs. Hacker is survived by her husband Patrick Hacker of Gainesville; her daughter Melissa Trammell of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Chancy Clark of Gainesville; son William Hacker of Gainesville; 5 grandchildren; and several other loved ones. Kathy attended Lindsay High School and remained in the area to raise her family. She was an animal lover, a sweet kindhearted person, with a heart of gold, who touched the lives of so many. Kathy’s Facebook will remain open and all are welcome to post memories and any final words to her there. There are no funeral arrangements at this time.
