Jasmun Ann and Diego Escobedo Ozenne August 06, 1981 – September 19, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook LAFAYETTE ~ Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at a 2:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Jasmun Ann Ozenne, age 39, and her sweet son, Diego Escobedo Ozenne, age 8, who tragically passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020. Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Survivors include her parents and his grandparents, Uranella and John Ozenne, Jr.; his father, Miquel Escobedo and his wife, Ana Torres; her daughters and his sisters, Meisha Denae and Teisha Renae Ozenne; Diego’s brothers, Jesus, Alex and Miguel Escobedo, Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Miguel Angel Escobedo and his wife, Casie; Jasmun’s siblings, Rico P. Ozenne, James Arvie, Cecile Toussaint, Alysha Arvie, Jaalan Gardner (Mandrell Harmon, Sr.) and Victoria Rido; Jasmun’s Godmother, Molly Walker; Diego’s Godparents, Joseph and Molly Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. They are preceded in death by Diego’s paternal grandmother, Flor Jasmin Escobedo; Jasmun’s paternal grandparents, John Ozenne, Sr. and Mary Georgia LeBlanc Ozenne; her Godfather, Phillip Francis; and her brother, Hollis Toussaint. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Thursday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Pallbearers will be Miguel Escobedo, III, Miguel Escobedo, II, Santiago Escobedo, Cecil Toussaint, James Arvie and Mandrell Harmon, Sr. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N.
