Obituary of Jack J. Thomas Jack J. Thomas, died Sept. 25, 2020 at age 80. Born and raised in Linden, NJ. Jack was a Middle Borough Resident for 54 years. Loving Husband and Father survived by wife Claire Thomas, daughters Sharon Thomas and Valerie Sylvester, and 3 grandsons. Jack served in the US Navy, as a machinist mate, on destroyers USS Cory DD817 and USS Henley DD762. After his tour of duty, he had a long professional career as a machinist and tool and dye maker. In retirement, Jack was active in the Middle American Legion. Funeral will be on Wednesday Sept. 30. Viewing: Middle Funeral Home 8am. Mass: Our Lady of Mt. Virgin 9:30am. Burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Perth Amboy Luncheon: Rt.22 West Tap and Grill at 1pm.
