A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Ashland Cemetery with Chaplain Monte Busby officiating. Fred was born on March 28, 1946 in McAlester to Harley Roosevelt and Nola (Elzey) Adams. He worked for National Oil Well in McAlester for over 20 years. Fred is preceded in death by his parents: Harley and Nola Adams, son: Keith Adams, brother: Billie Adams, and a sister: Paula Rhea. Fred is survived by his sisters: Betty Cato of Denison, Texas, Mary Wilhite of Claremore, and Margaret Sartor of Fort Worth, Texas; brother: Bobbie Adams of Lowel, Michigan; stepson: Tim Gilbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
