Eugene “Gene” Nepple, 65 of Carroll, died Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his home near Carroll surrounded by his family. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2020 at St. John Paul II Parish – St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Kevin Richter. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be no public visitation on Monday at the church. Those attending the visitation at the funeral home and attending the Funeral Mass are required to wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers memorials may be left at the funeral home for St. Anthony Hospice or St. Anthony Regional Cancer. Those wishing to mail a memorial please direct to Gene Nepple Family, c/o Sharp Funeral Home, 226 W. 8th St. Carroll, IA 51401.
