For most of us, that translated into; he could see how and why things worked, and if he could imagine it, he could build it. He loved Hot Rods and motorcycles and could usually be found either Reading on the topic or would be out for a ride. He loved children and was a fabulous father and Paw Pa. He is preceded in death by his father and grandson Gavin Overley. and is survived by his mother Hattie, and wife, Maryleann Parrish Reese, as well as his children by blood and of heart: Rachel; Julie (Patrick), Joey, Vashti (Nathan) and Wyte. In addition, he is survived by his two sisters, Cynthia (Howard) and Ramona as well as grandchildren: Brittany, Tori (Alex), Shie, Ian, Brayen, Eleanor, Hattie and Nate. He had many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousin that will miss him greatly. He will always be remembered for his full smile and joking nature.
