Dan’s Obituary Garland Daniel (Dan) Davis, age 81, of Livingston, Texas passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, in Texarkana, Texas. Dan was born March 17, 1939, in Morrilton, Arkansas. He retired in 1996 from his job as a printer with Texas Instruments in Dallas and McKinney, Texas. He was an avid gardener and fisherman during his working career and enjoyed traveling the country in an RV after retirement with his wife of 37 years, Margaret Carolyn Banks. In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by one son, Garland Daniel Davis and wife Vickie of Saginaw, Texas, and on daughter, Debra Lynn Mill of McConnellsville, South Carolina; three sisters and six brothers; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Dan’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home in Texarkana.
