Catherine’s Obituary Catherine A. Carter, age 62 of Paris, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Dusty Stout to officiate. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service. Catherine Carter was born March 22, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William Durkin and the late Irene Stewart Durkin. She married Joseph “Joe” Drecheny in 1998 and he survives in Paris, Tennessee. She is also survived by daughters, Allison Carter and Misty Drechney both of Paris; sons, Timothy Carter of Martin, Randy Drecheny of Merriville, Indiana and Nicky Drecheny of Maryland; three sisters; four brothers; two grandchildren and numerous other family members. Catherine loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was known as an excellent cook who loved yard work and helping out around the house.
