Lewis’ Obituary Lewis (Ricky) Yates Jr. 50, of Taylorsville Utah. Born September 3, 1969 in Murray Utah. Tragically passed away on July 19,2020. Preceeded in death by his father Lewis Ricky Yates Sr., Stepfather Jerry Jones, grandparents, aunts and uncles and several other family members who loved our Ricky very, very much. Ricky leaves behind his much loved mother. DeOna Jones, sister, Debra Yates, stepbrother Kelly Jones, (Suzann), niece, Alexess Zabriskie, nephew, Nathan Bailey, great niece, Krystina Huggins, great Nephew Izayah Huggins and his dog (Stain). Ricky also leaves behind Uncles, Jimmy (Detta) Yates and Randy (Lori) Yates and Aunts Jayne (Mark) Cole and Lois (LaDell) Taylor and many cousins and other family members and lifelong friends who loved him and will miss him always. The untimely, tragic death of Ricky leaves us with heavy hearts and many questions. Ricky was a fun, loving man who loved to tease and joke around. He loved his family, especially his (mama) more than anything… He had many friends that he was proud to know and always held close. Ricky loved to go camping and fishing. He loved the ladies, his Rock and Roll and the San Francisco 49ers. He was a great carpenter and loved to work and build. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him. There will be a Graveside service held on Monday July 27, 2020 at 1:30 pm at the Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road at The Garden of Valor. Family and Friends are welcome. Please bring your own lawn chairs. Read More
