Terry’s Obituary PONTOTOC – Terry Clay Akers, 60, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Terry Clay was a God fearing christian, talented craftsman/carpenter, avid outdoors man with a passion for hog hunting, hot sauce fanatic who loved to create what Lori lovingly referred to as “TCA art”. He is very loved and will be deeply missed. His earthly “ride” has ended, but his heavenly “ride” is eternal. Terry Clay is survived by his fiancee, Lori Harmon of Pontotoc and her daughter, C.C. Costilow of Pontotoc; his four sons, Brad, Josh, Cody, and Duell; his daughter, Aurie; his sister, Margaret Akers Stegall of Pontotoc; his grandchildren, Tristan, Aaron, Jouney, and Harley; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, that he dearly loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudie Clay and Willie Lee Patterson Akers; his two sisters, Martha Akers Brown and Charlotte Akers Jackson; and his two brothers-in-law, Bobby Brown and Wade Stegall, Jr. Funeral Services will be 2PM, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Hayseed Cowboy Church with Bro. Joey Moody officiating and Bro. Gary Pettit offering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 4PM-8PM at Hayseed Cowboy Church and Wednesday, July 1, 2020 12PM until service time. Pallbearers will be Grant Akers, Rodney Akers, Evan Akers, Dylan Akers, J.D. Chism, Cecil Crane, Aaron Akers, and John Richard Stephens.
