Obituary Maryann Deziley, 77, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 at Central Park Rehabilitation. She was the widow of Edward Deziley. Born in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of Walter and Mariann Kozlowski. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Master’s Degree. She was employed by the VA Hospital and worked as a social worker. She enjoyed the culinary arts and was an advocate for the veterans. She was an avid reader and also known for her fond love of animals. She is survived by her children, Walter Deziley, Wendy Deziley, Lorraine Deziley and grandchildren, Araya Hanavan, Amaya Coon and a great grandchild. She will be buried in a private graveside service next to her husband at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.   1. Maryann was my cousin, her Mom was my dad’s sister , Joseph Kozlowski. Maryann will be remembered by me as a fun loving, laughing person . May she rest in the Lord’s loving arms!🌈

  2. I worked with Maryann at the VA. She taught me everything I needed to do to help Veterans with their long term care planning. She had a great sense of humor and was so entertaining to work with. God bless you Maryann in heaven!
