Ronald Joe Cunningham, 69, of Newcomerstown, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his home. A son of the late James Ralph and Betty Lou (Butler) Cunningham, Ron was born April 18, 1951 at Dennison, Ohio. He is survived by his children, Kayla (Maria) Thompson of Woodsfield, Ohio and Kevin (Laura) Cunningham of Bethesda, Ohio; three grandchildren, Abigail Thompson and Lucas and Amelia Cunningham; his siblings, Shirley Patterson, Terry Cunningham, Karen (Ed) Arnold, James (Robin) Cunningham and Bonnie Cunningham and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Natalie Jean Cunningham who passed away on January 16, 2013. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Private family services will then be held and interment will take place in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Due to Covid 19, safety precautions will be taken. With that in mind, the 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, and to allow other guests to pay their respects, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after greeting the family. hide
