Also, survved by his great nieces and nephews, Ioanna, Ekaterini, Nicholas, and Vassili Kontos. My parents, who are in their 90s, have been going to Christina’s for year, and they were always greeted like old friends. When my father turned 90, we went to Christina’s. When I come down from Boston, we go to Christina’s. During the pandemic, my brother picked up food for my parents from Christina’s. Mr. Kontos always treated us the way he must have treated all of his customers — like family.
I am very sorry for your loss.
I just discovered Mr. Kontos’ passing which stunned me. I and friends celebrated our special days there. He always created an atmosphere of joy and hospitality. What a loss for all of us.
