Mathias’ Obituary Mathias “Matt” Hilburn of Devine TX, passed away on June 23, 2020 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 58. He was born on February 24, 1962, to Eloy and Asencion (Cortinas) Hilburn in Devine, TX. Matt is survived by his sons, Jonathan Hilburn-Lopez, Adrian Hilburn-Lopez and Jeremy Hilburn-Lopez. He is also survived by his mother; brothers, Eloy Hilburn, Jerry Hilburn and Gary Hilburn; sisters, Rosie Chandler, Dina Hilburn, Sylvia Hilburn and Marie Hilburn as well as his grandchildren, Adrian Hilburn-Lopez Jr., Andrew Hilburn-Lopez, Isaac Hilburn-Lopez and Joshua Hilburn-Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father and brothers, Mike Hilburn, Gilbert Hilburn and Joe Hilburn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home, 303 W. College Avenue, Devine, TX. The roasary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wedensday, July 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 108 S Washington Dr, Devine, TX. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Devine, TX.
