WILLIAMS, Jimmie Ray, 68, of Benwood, W. Va., went home to the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born June 3, 1952, in Wheeling, W. Va., a son of the late Jack and Helen Speilvogel Williams. He retired from United Dairy in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was Christian by faith and a member of Church Alive in Key, Ohio, and most recently a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Moundsville, W. Va., where he played guitar for both churches. He also ministered through his music at many local facilities and nursing homes. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Patterson Williams; one son, Gary (Lacey) Williams of Benwood; two sisters, Joan Williams, and Mary Jo Rockey; one brother, Jack (Connie) Williams Jr.; one granddaughter, Paige Williams; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 11 am until time of funeral service at 2 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, with Pastor Jeff Lewis and Pastor Ronald Wilfong officiating.
