Donna’s Obituary Donna Rea O’Quin, 77, of McComb, MS, passed away June 24, 2020 at her home. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Kennedy and Dr. David Millican will officiate and burial will be in East Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. O’Quin was born in Philadelphia, MS on December 28, 1942 to Cecil Rea and Mary Evelyn Nowell Rea. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. She graduated from Philadelphia High School where she was voted “friendliest girl” and “most polite girl” in her class. She was also head cheerleader. She also graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She later returned to college in the mid 80’s at the University of Southern Mississippi and received her Master’s Degree. She retired from the Mississippi State Department of Health District 7 office as a health educator. She loved God and loved to worship him as much as she could. She had a huge love for the Choctaw Indians, where she worked for the late Chief Phillip Martin and was featured in the Enterprise Journal for her collection of Indian artifacts. She also love to watch SEC Football. She was her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader at their sporting events, happily ringing her cowbell and yelling through her bullhorn. She is preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Sam Rea. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 wonderful years, Frank “Danny” O’Quin of McComb; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Tammie Pair Pace of Madison, Jennifer Goza Travis and husband Delos Noel Travis, Jr. of McComb, Angela O’Quin Hood and husband Greg of McComb and Lisa O’Quin Marquez and husband Jose of Denver, CO; ten grandchildren, Collins Pace of Nashville, Mary Elizabeth Pace of Madison, Abigail Dakota Travis, Rebekah McKenzie Tate and husband CJ, Daniel Hood, Matthew McKenzie all of McComb, Cody Costello and wife Andi, Colton, Cameron, Marissa Costello all of Denver, CO; eight great grandchildren, Wyatt McKenzie, Gennifer, Zoey, TJ and Kevin Tate all of McComb, Brinleigh and Ryleigh Costello and Layne Costello all of Denver, CO; two brothers and their wives, Jimmy and Sammie Rea of Ridgeland and Kenny and Amy Rea of Madison; two sisters-in-law and their families, Glenda O’Quin Rogers and husband Johnny of Moss Point, MS and Carol O’Quin of Southaven, MS; one niece, Macy Rea Thompson and her husband Walt of Mobile, Al and two nephews, John Rea and his wife Kim of Madison and Todd Rea and wife Joy of Clarksville, TN; two great nieces, Mary Grace Rea of Auburn and Summer and Addison Rea of Clarksville, TN and four great nephews, John Austin Rea of Biloxi, Payton Rea of Madison, CJ Rea and wife Sophia of Madison and Jacob Rea of Clarksville, TN and a special friend, Lynn Bell Pallbearers will be John Rea, CJ Rea, Greg Hood, Matthew McKenzie, Todd Rea and Rayburn Waddell Honorary pallbearers will be James Andrews and Larry Ray Read More
