Obituary SOCASH, Andrew Jr., 86, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home. He was born September 26, 1933 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and came to Brooksville 55 years ago from Montebello, California. He served in the United States Army and worked as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Hernando County Amateur Radio Club (HCARA) and the Spring Hill Amateur Radio Club (SHARC), and was the owner and operator of a TV repair shop. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carol Socash; son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Alissa Socash of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters and son-in-law, Joann Socash of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Cindy Novak & Patrick Novak of Santa Clarita, California, and Annmarie Socash of Los Angeles, California; sister, Maria Zimmerman (James Mohr) of Monte Bello, California; grandchildren, Steven Novak (Stephanie) and Dr. Jennifer Novak (Dr. Daniel Burkett). The family will have a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to People Helping People of Hernando County or the American Cancer Society-Hope Lodge, Tampa.
