Nina’s Obituary Nina Jean Holt, 93, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Private family burial was held Thursday, March 26, 2020 in the Freeman, Missouri Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Nina was born July 18, 1926 in rural Freeman, MO, a daughter of Albert Lee and Gladys (Moul) Goddard. She was a lifelong Cass County, Missouri resident. She married George Edward Holt on September 24, 1947 in Harrisonville, MO. She was a homemaker until later years when she worked for Little Shirt Company in Freeman as a seamstress for five years. Nina was a member of Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Nina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George on January 11, 2009, son, Johnny Holt, daughter, Nancy Anderson and her husband, Ed, son-in-law, LaVern Gilmore, three sisters, Doris Marrs and husband Tom, Levon Sutton and husband, Jim, and Peggy Shipley and husband Don. She is survived by two sons, Jim Holt (Ginger), Harrisonville, MO and Richard Holt (Betty), Warsaw, MO; two daughters, Barbara Spinning (David), Garden City, MO and Georgia Gilmore, Racket, MO; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
