Marla Ransdell January 16, 1969 – May 05, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Marla Jean Ransdell, 51 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died May 5, 2020 at her home. She was born January 16, 1969, a daughter of Jerome “Jerry” and Beverly (Newton) Lake. She married Christopher Ransdell. He survives. She was a 1987 graduate of Fort Madison High School. She went to college and earned an accounting degree. She was a dispatcher with LeeComm for more than 20 years. She liked western movies and her pets. She is survived by her husband, Chris Ransdell of Fort Madison, her father and step-mother, Jerry and Barbara Lake of Fort Madison; one daughter Rachel Frey of Illinois; one brother Brad Lake (Chantelle Runyon) of West Point; a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother. A private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, rural Fort Madison.
