Obituary Barbara Eloise Zoet, aged 89, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 3, 2020. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Bernard Jack Zoet, and their three children Mary Zoet, Laurie Cahoon and her husband Keith, and Mark Zoet and his wife Desiree. Barbara has 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Barbara worked as the church secretary for Fifth Reformed Church for 23 years. She was involved in the Stephen’s Ministry, the Blodgett Hospital volunteer service guild and also served as a Holland Home volunteer in her later years. Barbara enjoyed reading, knitting, board games, jigsaw puzzles, and time at the family cottage on Gun Lake. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. The family is grateful for the loving care given her by the staff of Holland Home Raybrook, Verblaauw Unit and by the staff of Faith Hospice. A memorial and celebration of Barbara’s life will be scheduled at a later date. In honor of Barbara and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Other Way Ministries.
