Obituary Timothy “Timmy” Carey Lindsay, 55, of Poquoson, Virginia, passed away February 10, 2020. He was a 1982 graduate of Poquoson High School and a lifelong waterman. He loved working the water; clamming, crabbing and oystering, with clamming being his favorite. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, David Lindsay. He is survived by his two sons, Timothy Lindsay and Joshua Lindsay; his parents, Gloria Ann and Paul Fay Lindsay; brother, Paul Lindsay, Jr. and wife Karen; niece, Kristen Jones and husband Thomas, and their children Lauren and Meagan; and special friend, Nell Knight. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home in Poquoson. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Sue and Ike Martin at 105 Rens Road, Lot 44, Poquoson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Poquoson Volunteer Rescue Squad or Poquoson Volunteer Fire Department.
