Obituary 86, of Woodland Drive, Coventry, formerly of Exeter, passed away peacefully after a long fought illness knowing she was deeply loved on Sunday February 9, 2020 at Respiratory & Rehabilitation of Rhode Island, Coventry. She was the loving wife of the late Ernest Danzer. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late George T. and Elizabeth ( Gifford ) Allen. Patricia was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. Family and her role as mother and grandmother was the most important thing to Patricia and is where she drew her strength. She was always ready for a visit, whether it was to talk, play board games or catch us up on family events and she always had homemade Irish bread to serve us all. Being with her family was what she enjoyed most of all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her children, Kenneth E. Danzer, Sr. of Coventry, Janella E. MacKinnon of Exeter, Susan P. Gouveia of Rehoboth, MA, Lisa J. Moone of East Greenwich, her grandchildren, Joseph W. MacKinnon, Justine M. Cole, Krista E. Ricci, Jennell M. Danzer, Kenneth E. Danzer, Jr., Patrick A. Gouveia, Jr., Abigail E. Gouveia and 7 great grandchildren. She was sister of the late George T. Allen, Jr and Jane Davey-Hadley. Funeral Service will be held Friday February 14, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick followed by burial in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Calling hours are Thursday 4:00-7:00 pm.
