Ellamae Wease, 85, of Sonora, passed away Sunday February 23, 2020 at her Residence in Sonora. She was born in Upton to Irvin and Ellarae Hornback. She was a homemaker and a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Opal Butler. She is survived by her loving Spouse Johnnie Wease of Sonora, Kentucky. two sons, Ray Wease of Sonora, KY, Gary (Linda) Wease of Nolin, KY, five daughters, Elizabeth (Glenn) Wease of Sonora, KY, Kathy (Jimmy) Mayhorn of Elizabethtown, KY, Patty S. (Terry) McClure of Sonora, Ky, Cheryl (Paul) Underwood of Upton, KY, Shannon Embry of Sonora, KY, two sisters, Geneva Choate of Upton, KY, Louise Hornback of Elizabethtown, KY, 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday February 28, 2020 at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church in Upton, Ky. with Rev. Adam Jenkins officiating. Burial will be held at the Stoney Point Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 12 noon till time of the service Friday at the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church in Upton.
