Obituary Donald C. “Donnie” Springer Jr. , age 54, of Celina, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born April 15, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, to Donald C. & Barbara A. ( Guzowski ) Springer, who both preceded him in death. Surviving are two sisters and a brother: Karen M. Springer of Columbus, Michael E. Springer of Kerrville, Texas, and Kelly A. Springer of Celina, a niece & nephew: Brittany Springer and Nolan McRavin, and a great niece & nephew: Lonnie & Victoria Stidham. A 1983 graduate of Celina High School, Donnie served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984-1988. He had most recently been employed at NK Parts in Sidney. Donnie was a member of Celina VFW Post #5713, and he enjoyed spending time at the Post, and working on crossword puzzles in the newspaper. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Celina VFW Post, 1118 W. Logan St. Calling Hours and a Memorial Service are planned to be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Friday, February 28. As of now, the times have not been confirmed. To send flowers to Donald C.
