Della’s Obituary Della Ilene Beatty was born December 4, 1924 in Hutchison, Kansas, the daughter of Roy Elmer and Rita Belle (Thomas) McCrary. She entered into rest on February 12, 2020 in Blue Springs, Missouri, following four years of failing health at the age of 95. Della graduated from Granby High School and had worked at a dry cleaners and traveled with her husband, while he worked in the construction industry. She moved to the Blue Springs, Missouri area in the mid 60’s and managed the Union 76 Truckstop retail store until her retirement. She enjoyed painting and was a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church. Della is survived by a son, Alan Beatty of Lees Summit, Missouri; one brother, Gerald McCrary and wife, Myrna of Neosho; one sister, Edith Parmley of Neosho and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Charles Beatty; and half sister, Mercedes (Dee) Smiley and four brothers, Robert, Donnie, Raymond and William McCrary. Graveside services will be Monday, February 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Gibson Cemetery, Russell Duncan will officiate. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Monday from 9 am until noon at the funeral home.
