Charlotte’s Obituary Charlotte Ann Bruce, age 69, of Qulin, MO, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, in Saint Louis, MO. Mrs. Bruce was born February 23, 1950 in Glennonville, daughter of the late Leo and Delphine Petry. She was a member of the Qulin Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Qulin Nutrition Center. She retired from the Qulin branch of Southern Bank after 28 years in the banking industry. On February 14, 1970, she married Jerry Bruce. He survives. She is also survived by 2 daughters: Kimberly Eudaley and husband Kevin of Poplar Bluff, Kerri Hicks and husband James Jr. of Fisk; one brother: Dallas Petry of Glennonville; two sisters: Marilyn Kuhn of Hermann, MO and Sandra Petry of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren: Erin Crosby and husband Drake, Emma Eudaley, Jeren Hicks, Jalen Hicks and Keaton Hicks. She was also preceded in death by four siblings: Dorothea Hirtz, Jean Hirtz, Harold Petry and A.J. Petry. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Cornman officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley. The family requests memorials be given to the Qulin Nutrition Center.
