Obituary Yvette M. Laughlin, age 91, of Willmar, died Friday, January 10, at Bethesda Grand Nursing Home in Willmar. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be at St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery in DeGraff. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery Association are preferred. www.petersonbrothers.com Yvette Marie Laughlin was born February 7, 1928, in Nouméa, New Caledonia, the daughter of Emile and Madeleine (Bernard) Gratian. She grew up in New Caledonia and immigrated to the United States to marry Maurice Laughlin on October 26, 1946 in DeGraff, Minnesota. They made their home in DeGraff and Yvette worked as a farmwife for 20 years before going to work as a supervisor at Fingerhut/Future Products in Benson. In 1993, Maurice and Yvette retired and moved to Willmar. She was a member of the Church of St. Mary, and volunteered at her church and Rice Memorial Hospital. Yvette’s hobbies included gardening, crafts, knitting, and playing cards. She is survived by: 5 Daughters: Evelyn Koch of Fargo, ND, Shirley Neighbors (and special friend Bob Okland) of Litchfield, Mary Buell of Lynden, WA, Nancy (and Glen) Lundt of Manawa, WI, Kate Degner (and special friend Chris Langness) of Cosmos. 4 Sons: John (and Char) Laughlin of Spicer, Bob (and Rita) Laughlin of Murdock, Gary (and Stacie) Laughlin of Spicer, Ron (and Brenda) Laughlin of Crestwood, KY. 23 Grandchildren: Randy Peratt, Renee Carlson, Greg Tupper, Kim (and Mark) Olson, Shayna (and Carl) St. Pierre, Jeremy (and Kimberly) Laughlin, Matt (and Lisa) Laughlin, Cayla (and Steve) Samms, Kelsey (and Whitney) Buell, Josh (and Emily) Laughlin, Justin Laughlin, Sarah Laughlin, Drew (and Elise) Lundt, Nick (and Sarah) Lundt, Brandon (and Beth) Lundt, Kellie (and Kyle) Skotzke, Dawn (and Scott) Norris, Chris (and Ashley) Degner, Megan (and Matt) Degner, Ryan Laughlin, Alexis Laughlin, Nate Laughlin, Alyssa Laughlin. 41 Great-Grandchildren: Taiylor Peratt, Carter Peratt, Cody Carlson, Colton Carlson, Camden Carlson, Cyra Carlson, Martin Tupper, Myriam Tupper, Kyle Olson, Maison Olson, Skylar Evenson, Sam St. Pierre, Jacob Laughlin, Hannah Laughlin, Cole Laughlin, Sawyer Laughlin, Asher Samms, Corwin Samms, Ellery Samms, Cooper Buell, Brady Buell, Mayson Laughlin, Addison Lundt, Lexie Lundt, Kait Lundt, Isaac Lundt, Nikki Lundt, Abby Lundt, Adam Lundt, Jack Lundt, Lena Lundt, Shane Skotzke, Riley Skotzke, Shaun Norris, Kylee Norris, McKenzie Degner, Caden Degner, Madison Degner, Carter Degner, Brooklyn Degner, Paisley Degner.
