William Melvin “Blade” Baskin age 67 of 103 Old Evans Road Belton Passed Tuesday at the AnMed Medical Center he was born in Anderson County and was the son of Mary Williams and the late James Williams. Survivors include his Mother Mary Williams of Belton, wife Mamie Baskin of Belton S.C., three daughter Lasheika Baskin, Keysha Baskin both of Belton S.C., and Lashunda Baskin of Atlanta Ga., seven sisters Patricia Williams of Easley, Carolyn Speed of Anderson, Denise Williams Belton S.C., Joyce (Waymon) Williams Greer S.C., Sharon (Randy) Brock Anderson S.C., Marie (Rodriquce) Hall of Anderson S.C., Janet (Tommy) Williams Anderson S.C. , brothers Michael Williams of Belton S.C., Freddie Williams of Easley S.C., Calvin (Beth) Williams of Belton S.C., Richard (Diane) Williams of Anderson S.C., James (Bonnie) Williams of Seneca S.C., 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father one brother Author Tweet Williams. Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church burial will follow at Belton City Cemetery.
