William “Bill” T. Richman, age 73 of Bluff City, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. He was the son of the late Walter and Ethel Thomas Richman and was born in Pleasantville, NJ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters. Bill was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans organization. He was a retired golf course caddy at Pine Valley Golf Course in New Jersey for forty years. Bill was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed golfing, watching baseball and NASCAR. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-nine years, Kim Davis Richman of the home; a daughter, Lisa Richman Miller of Bluff City; a son, John Richman of Kingsport; a granddaughter who was papaw’s little sweetheart, Leah Miller of Bluff City and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service and inurnment will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Mountain Home National Cemetery New Annex on Lake Drive West. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28th at First Christian Church in Bluff City with Dr. Jonathon Feathers, minister officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center and to the members of First Christian Church of Bluff City for their care and support they have provided.
