Services for Wanda Nell Fansler, 84, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home with Josh Harrell, Jeremy Harrell and Jason Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Mrs. Fansler passed away January 10, 2020 in Grand Saline. She was born October 7, 1935, in Speaks to Jess & Addie Gertrude Quattabum New. She married Billy Jack Fansler February 22, 1952 in Bay City and worked as a medical receptionist. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, B.J. Fansler of Grand Saline; son, Del Fansler and wife Kathryn of Flint; two daughters, Donna Newburn and husband Dennis of Lindale and Connie Harrell and husband Jesse of Grand Saline; brother, Pete New and wife Florence of Bay City; sister, Mickey Brown and husband Kenny of Wharton; sister-in-law, Jean New of Grand Saline; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Dr. Richard Ingrim, Jerry Crane, Joe Watkins, Nick Adkins, Bro. Homer Morgan and Dr. David Monty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
