Vincent’s Obituary VINCENT DANIEL TARLINI (aka “Senior”), age 76, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Emory Bennett Memorial Nursing Home, Daytona Beach, Florida. Preceding him in death, his mother, Mary Laquintano; father, Vincent James Tarlini; and first wife, Carol. Vincent grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he graduated from high school. Vincent then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, serving proudly as a Rifleman and Proof Tech Helper Firearms for 4 years. He received the following medals and badges: The Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; National Defense Service Medal and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge M-14. Following his discharge as a Private First Class, Vincent went on to marry his first wife and have a son together. In 1976, Vincent relocated to Ormond Beach, Florida where he resided and raised his family. Vincent was a man of many talents he was extremely accomplished in the motorcycle and automotive sales industry in Volusia County where he and his son in 1988 established Academy Award Autos in Holly Hill, Florida. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who loved to entertain and amuse everyone with his slick moves especially when dancing. He enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Cancun, the Cayman Islands, and Costa Rica; but most of all his time spent with his family is what he cherished most. Most who knew him knew of his passion for bike week and speed week events, you could expect to hear from him looking for parts for his bike or tickets to go to the events. Vincent’s appetite for life and the way in which he lived it are legendary, but what he will be most remembered for by those who knew and loved him was his total devotion to his family. Vincent loved his family and was fiercely protective of each and every one of them. Surviving are his son, Vincent James Tarlini and his wife, Tacina; grandson, John; 2 granddaughters, Austin-Marie and Hailey; great-granddaughter, Austyn and great-grandson, Sebastian; daughter, Allison Tarlini and her seven children; 2 granddaughters, Kayla and Lesly; 5 grandsons, Dionte, Deshaun, Jay, Devon and Treyvon; son, Daniel Vincent Tarlini and his wife, Sarah; and son, Nicholas Tarlini; sister, Mary Murphy (aka Dolly) and her sons, nephew, Keith and great niece, Krista; nephew, Randy and 2 great nieces, Alexis and Madison; nephew, Travis and great niece, Shantel; 2 great nephews, Andrew and Max; as well as numerous cousins, family and friends. Graveside services will be celebrated on Friday, February 7th at 9:30 am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US 1 – Mims, Florida.
