Obituary Victor Manuel “Vic” “Snorky” Bracamontes, age 61 resident of Hammond, IN but a die hard East Chicagoan passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at home. He is survived by his mother, Josefina V. Bracamontes; brother, Gustavo Bracamontes; 3 sisters, Maria Guadalupe (Gregory) Strobel, Beatriz Bracamontes and late Leticia Bracamontes; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Manuel A. Bracamontes (2018). Funeral arrangements are pending at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN. Victor’s passions in life were playing the guitar, riding motorcycles, relaxing pensively under a tree and watching baseball (especially the Cubs) on tv with his mother, “La Porks”.
