Obituary Van Albert Coen. 88, of Mt Pleasant, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, in Altercare Adena. He was born in Adena on March 22, 1931 a son of the late Van and Bessie (Sanders) Coen. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps, was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Dillonvale American Legion, McCook post #529. Van is survived by his wife of 68 years, Reta (Post) Coen; children, Delbert (Sharon) Coen, Diana Charlton and Roger (Mary Anne) Coen; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 3 great greatgrandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death his parents; a daughter, June Rawson; twin infant granddaughters; an infant great grandson, Isaac Parsons; a sister and 5 brothers. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Staley officiating.
