Obituary Thomas J. “Slick” Ahaus Sr., 77, of Manchester, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020. He was born December 14, 1942 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Andrew and Jane (Akemon) Ahaus. Tom was a founding member of the Manchester Fire Department where he was the 2nd Fire Chief. He enjoyed music-especially bluegrass, sports, playing cards, dancing and hunting. He loved golf and telling jokes.
