Obituary Steven R. Elson, age 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, January 29, 2020 at Belle Springs Nursing & Rehab in Bellefontaine. Steve was born in Sidney, Ohio December 12, 1957, to the late Richard Ray and Barbara Mary (Eustache) Elson. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Maxine Eustache. Steve is survived by his brothers, Dave Elson of Bellefontaine and Mike (Pam) Elson of Belle Center, Ohio and two nephews, Eric Elson and Danny Elson. Steve worked for twenty plus years at HBD. In his younger days, he enjoyed golfing, collecting baseball cards and whiskey bottles. He used to raise pigeons, peacocks and rabbits as well as some other animals. Steve enjoyed shooting pool and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 3, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Plattsville Cemetery in Shelby County. The arrangements are being handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. E.T.
