Soumek’s Obituary Soumek Sithihao Ratthasombath, age 78, of Hensley passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at his home. He was born May 23, 1941 in Laos to the late Bouasy and Ko Sithihao Ratthasombath. Soumek was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Khamphong Sengsouringho, Soui Ratthasombath, and Sone Ratthasombath; and sisters, Nang Khampha Ratthasombath and Nang Pai Ratthasombath. Survivors include his wife, Noukham Phannalith Sithihao; children, Phiangphaned Pamela Sithihao (Mark G. Mayes), Vanhnaled Jill Pimsaen (Veerapol), Vanhnaly Janet Salinas (Tom), Santisouk Sithihao, Khongsanouk Nick Sithihao (Linh), and Phoutsawath Mary Sithihao; brother, Bounlom Ratthasombath; sister, Nang Mork Ratthasombath; and six grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at the funeral home.
