Longtime resident of Kenai Peninsula, Shirley Fritz, passed away on November 16, 2019, after bravely fighting a 2-year battle with cancer. Shirley was raised on a dairy farm in Gresham, OR where she learned to love the outdoors, animals, nature, hard work, and adventure. She attended college in Fairbanks and fell in love with Alaska.
