Shirley Ann Scott, 81 of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma passed from this earth to her eternal home on January 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Shirley was born to the late William Robert and Eula Lois (Townsend) Robinson in Pauls Valley on January 21, 1939. One of eleven children born into a fun and adventurous family. After graduating from Wynnewood High School, she married the love of her life A.L. Scott. Together they created a family and for 59 years had many, many fun filled adventurous days! As a giver she tended to the family, helped A.L. with his trucking business, enjoyed their paint horses all while encouraging her kids to have fun and find their passion even if it meant going mudding in a 4×4. The life of the party even though she was proud of being a teetotaler was quick for an adventure! Also, an avid learner, she leaned on her encyclopedias, loved writing poetry and documented many of her adventures. A once published poet she left behind many poems and adventure filled journals. Shirley was spoiled rotten up until the end by her siblings, then by A.L, her kids, many friends and her final request by her Lord & Savior. She got everything she wanted even up to her last breath when she ask the Lord to come get her & he immediately fulfilled her request. Shirley was preceded in death by the love of her life A.L. Scott and daughter Susan Claiborne, Siblings, R.P. Robinson, Billy Robinson, Alfred (Ikie) Robinson, Jimmy Robinson and Betty Mahorney. Shirley did not fight Cancer, Cancer fought her! She leaves behind a passel of family who share her tenacity & spunk, Samuel L. Scott, Son Sandra Wells, daughter & her husband Jerold W Wells, Jr Sonny L Scott, son & wife Guyla, grandchildren, Crystal Walrath and her husband Everette, Chris Scott and his wife Toni, Kyle Scott, Brooke Scott, Robert Claiborne & Jentri and Kyle Scott, Great-grandchildren, Navea, Keagan, JaColby, Brody, Langston, Jessi, Harli, Laramie and Case, siblings, Phyllis Moore, Linda Morgan, Larry Robinson, Phillip Don Robinson and Mike Robinson. Also a very special friend: Marie Beaty Funeral services are scheduled for 1: 00 pm, February 3, 2020 at the Light Of The World Pentecostal Church in Pauls Valley with Rev. Everette Walrath officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, OK. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
