Sheran’s Obituary PARKHURST, Sheran Lee – of Otisville, MI, age 76, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM, Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 212 Center Street, Otisville, MI 48463; Fr. Kenneth F. Coughlin celebrant. Cremation will follow the Mass. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Love Rescued Me Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation, 3371 S. State Road, Davison, MI 48423. Sheran was born in Flint, MI on November 21, 1943, daughter of the late Lloyd and Irene (Montin) Goudy. She married John “Mike” Parkhurst at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on June 22, 1963, and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2011. Sheran was a member at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she was actively involved. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and going to the casino. In her later years, she became an avid reader. Sheran also loved her dog, Sissie, and in previous years, her horses. Sheran is survived by her son, Donald L. Parkhurst; grandchildren, Michael (Alicia) and Austin (Emily) Padilla; great-grandson, Sawyer Padilla; twin sister, Keran (Don) Walkowicz; many other loving family members.
