A memorial service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary’s South Colonial Chapel. Sandra “Sandy” K. Jones-Humphrey, born August 19, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK to Earl and Bernice Jones. She passed away January 12, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Sandy grew up in Oklahoma City graduating from Capitol Hill High School in 1960. She spent her working career at Lucent-AT&T in Oklahoma City retiring there with over 30 years of service. Sandy was a beloved mother, grandmother and had many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and longtime family friend, Joan Carter. She is survived by her daughter, JoNell Carter of Newcastle, OK; son, Marc Carter and wife, Destini of Murphy, TX; 2 brothers, Mike Jones and wife, Norma of Stroud, OK and Bob Jones and wife, Diann of Lake Kiowa, TX. She was also a proud grandmother to Bailey and Logan Carter of Murphy, TX and loved dearly by many nieces and nephews. Read Less To send flowers in memory of Sandy K.
