Obituary Sally A. Larson Of Cary Sally A. Larson was born on August 14, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Julia (nee Busti) Mickleborough. She died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at White Oaks in South Elgin, Illinois. Sally is survived by her children Susan (Jim) Puls, Steven Larson and Julie (Marc) Zuder; her grandchildren Bill (Sunny) Foulks, Michelle (Mike) Giese, Ashley (Bobby) Nolan, Zach Zuder, Jorie Zuder and Caitlyn Zuder; her great-grandchildren Ellie Giese, Caleb Giese, and Liam Foulks; her sisters Judy (late Mel) Conviser and Kathy (Joe) Holich; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 52 years Eugene Arthur Larson, her parents as well as her brothers Pete (Joan) Mickleborough, Jimmy Mickleborough and Mike (Ruth) Mickleborough. Sally worked as a receptionist during her career. She met Gene at her first job where they both worked together. They were married on April 27, 1957 and created a warm and loving home in Elmwood Park for over 30 years. Her interests and hobbies included sewing, crafts, reading, and games. She shared a love of art, travel, and home decorating with her husband, Gene. They enjoyed antique shopping, bowling, and socializing on the weekends. Sally’s life was all about spending time with family whether it was with her siblings, children, or grandchildren. A true matriarch of her family, she will be deeply missed. Memorial Visitation Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 9:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A Chapel Committal Service will follow at 1:30pm at Mount Emblem Cemetery 520 E. Grand Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Eden Alternative, Inc. P.O.
