Ronald Alan Mills “Ron”, age 73, passed away on January 23, 2020 at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center, Manassas, Virginia. He was born on August 1, 1946 in Arlington, Virginia to the late William Flavious and Dorothy Mae (Weed) Mills. Predeceased by his parents; two brothers: Robert and Donald Mills; and a great granddaughter: Raegan Van Buskirk. Survivors include his loving wife Lauria Kay Mills; five children and one adopted son: Nancy Jo Williams and husband Bobby and their children: Carolyn (David), Zack and Grayson all of Manassas, VA; Shane William Mills and wife Dawn and their children: Shane, Jr. and Trevor all of Culpeper, VA; Heather Jeannette Mills Conte and husband Joe and their children: Spencer, Marlena, Zachary and Nicholas all of Manassas, VA; Jason Robert Mills and wife Kaiti and their children: Autumn, Emileigh and Caden all of Manassas, VA; and Adrian Renee Mills and husband Brian Waldeck and their children Hope and Cooper all of Stafford, VA; Kodhi Kristofer D. Mills of Manassas, VA; three great grandchildren: Aaron, Weston and Mason Van Buskirk; brothers: William Mills and Michael Somers; Sister: Brenda Salvador; several nieces and nephews; and many “adopted” kids that Ron and Lauria took into their hearts and gave a home to if physically, mentally or otherwise. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Sudley United Methodist Church, 5308 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM where services will begin at 2 PM with Pastor Tony Lutyk officiating. A reception will follow at the church hall. Interment will take place at a later date at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
