Obituary Roland A. Fortin, 75, Cascade Hill, died on Sunday January 19, 2020 after a period of failing health at the Jack Burns Hospice Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH to Leo Joseph and Laura (Boudreau) Fortin. He attending Berlin Schools then went on to find work at the Brown Company. Roland was a quiet and private man. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family at the camp on Pike Pond. He is predeased by his parents, three brothers, Maurice, Raymond, and Emile Fortin, and a sister Anita Knight. He is survived by his daughter Lauralee Tardiff-Thomas and her husband Eric of Berlin, a son Maurice Fortin and his wife Angelique of Gilman, VT, a brother Henry Fortin and his wife Rose of Berlin, three grandchildren, Georgia, Bruce, and Brianna, two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Mason, as well as the mother of his children, Georgia Fortin, and several nieces, nephews and close friends. There will be no public services. Roland will be interred in the family lot at the Russian City Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
