Obituary Roger “Yank” Emerson, 82, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 18, 2020 in a Texarkana hospice facility. Roger was born March 6, 1937 in Ithica, New York to Claude Emerson and Pearl Reeves. He was retired from Thiokol Ammunition Plant. Yank was also an Air Force veteran and served in the Korean conflict. He is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Charlie Pedraza and two stepsons, Tony Evans and Elton Smith.
