Roberta Morgan January 24, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Roberta (Rosie) Morgan, 93, of Wichita, KS passed away January 24, 2020 at Westview of Derby in Derby, KS. Roberta was reunited with the love of her life, Arthur Morgan, who went ahead to heaven 5 months ago to prepare an eternal home for his Rosie. Roberta was born to Paul and Cecile Dyer on January 19, 1927 in Derby, KS. She married Arthur in 1965 and was retired after working a large part of her life in the Wichita School System. She loved her family and fishing, not necessarily in that order, and lived a simple, good life. She was loved deeply and will be missed by many. She is survived by her children, Louis Wayne Rickards of Menafee CA, Garla Louise Donely of Westplains MO, and Glenna Carrie Barker of Wichita KS. Her greatest sorrows came from burying 3 of her children, Lawrence Dean Rickards, Wanda Joyce Rickards, and Kevin Neal Rickards. Her legacy continues though in the form of 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, make a pot of chicken and dumplings and share your favorite memory of Roberta with your family and friends. If you would like to make a monetary donation, they may be made in Roberta’s name to Encompass Hospice, 8201 E 34th St Circle, Suite 1503, Wichita KS 67226, (316) 267-4663, whose services were amazing and a comfort to Roberta at the end of this part of her journey, and a great relief for the rest of her family. There will be a graveside service White Chapel Cemetery, 1824 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208 in the near future.
