Roberta’s Obituary WILCOX, Roberta “Bobbie” “BJ” (Smith, McCarty) – of Davison, passed away January 5, 2020 at The Pines of Burton. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Smith-Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until time of service on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice. Roberta was born in Flint, MI on February 7, 1942, daughter of the late Robert and Carol (Hough) Smith. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. Roberta loved to needlepoint and has many pictures hung in every room in the house. She loved spending time with her family and friends and found joy in travel. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Mel Wilcox; son, Jud Dan (Debbie) McCarty; granddaughters, Hannah and Bailey McCarty; sister, Nancy Booth; brother, Mark (Helga) Smith; stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Jud Dee McCarty. Our many thanks go to the Pines of Burton Memory Care staff and also to Heart to Heart Hospice Care for their support.
