Guyette – 82, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, January 10, 2020. Born in Burlington on February 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Robert R. and Marie (Martin) Guyette. On November 8, 1958, he married the former Rachel Ann Lamson in Waterbury. Robert attended schools in Waterbury and then went on to have a 25-year career as a machinist with General Electric in Burlington. Following, he was employed for 10 years at the Vermont State Hospital in security as well as the heating plant. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and cruising the back roads of Vermont with his wife and family. Robert is survived by his sons, Thomas Guyette and his wife Milisa of Duxbury, Michael Guyette and his wife Tammy of Barre; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Guyette of Montpelier. Robert was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Green. Services will be private for family.
