Rick’s Obituary Rick A. Hudson, 66, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:39 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana, IL Celebration of Life Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Rick was born on November 20, 1953 in Tuscola, the son of Darren D. and Eva E. Gabbard Hudson. He married Jeanne J. Nuccio on June 15, 1975. She preceded him in death on October 19, 1998. He married Rebecca A. Brown on July 21, 2002 in Champaign, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his son: Jeffrey Hudson of Charleston and daughter: Jennifer Hudson of Mattoon, 10 grandchildren, step-daughters: Leslie Allison McLane of Arcola and Andrea Branson of Humboldt, brothers: Orville and Jerry Hudson both of Camargo, sister: Sandy Painter of Camargo. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter: Heather McLane. Memorials are suggested to Douglas County Animal Control. Rick retired from Kraft in 2011. He was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church and Forty Martyrs Catholic Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible everyday. Rick loved to fish and hunt and had a passion for animals.
