Richard was born October 31, 1968 in Springfield, MO to Robert and Vada (Atchison) Stott. Rick was an electrician for many years. He enjoyed working on trucks, and at one time helped build a dirt track race car. Rick was a big fan of NASCAR and the Chiefs. He liked canoe float trips, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family, especially his wife and kids. Richard and Patricia (Foster) were united in marriage on October 15, 2011 at Leann, MO and to this union they were blessed with three children. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Robert Preston Stott, and a great nephew, Lucas Stott. Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Stott of the home, three children, Ethan, Abigail, and Raegan, his mother, Vada Stott, and a brother, Bruce Stott, all of Cassville, as well as a host of other family and friends who will miss Rick very much. Graveside services for Richard will be Friday, January 31st at 2:00 pm at the Brushyknob cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Donald Potter. Memorials may be made to Brushyknob cemetery.
